EPIC: The Musical

EPIC: The Musical is a concept album created (or rather, being created!) by Jorge Rivera-Herrans and inspired by Homer's The Odyssey. Few words describe the music as well as its title. The rise and fall of the music; the powerful vocals; the motifs for each character. A truly epic telling of an epic tale.

The musical is split into 9 different of sagas, the seventh of which (The Wisdom Saga) has just released. It's the hype of listening to that EP that has driven me to write up this post and share it. I've been following for a little while and am yet to be disappointed by any of the instalments. Such a cool idea for an album and such an engaging way to tell the tall of the Odyssey!

I came to this part way through as both the Troy and Cyclops sagas had released. Spotify tells me this was April 1st 2023, but it was no April Fools! I've been eagerly waiting for the new sagas since then and playing my favourites on repeat once available.
